English version below Międzynarodowe seminarium naukowe – Prof. Dieter Steinhilber
9 maja br. o godzinie 10:00 w Instytucie Rozrodu Zwierząt i Badań Żywności PAN w Olsztynie odbędzie się kolejne międzynarodowe seminarium naukowe w ramach projektu ERA Chair – Welcoming ERA Chair to Centre of Excellence in Nutrigenomics to optimise health and well-being.
Gościem wydarzenia będzie profesor Dieter Steinhilber, dyrektor Instytutu Chemii Farmaceutycznej na Uniwersytecie Johannesa Wolfganga Goethego we Frankfurcie.
Profesor Steinhilber wygłosi referat pt. “Inflammation and lipid mediators: Old and new therapeutic strategies”.
Badania profesora koncentrują się na sygnalizacji lipidowej oraz mechanizmach regulacyjnych w stanach zapalnych i nowotworach, a także na nowych strategiach terapeutycznych, ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem kaskady kwasu arachidonowego i wrodzonego układu odpornościowego.
Po wykładzie (około godz. 11:00) zapraszamy na nieformalne spotkanie z prof. Steinhilber, podczas którego zarówno liderzy zespołów badawczych jak i młodzi pracownicy nauki będą mieli możliwość dyskusji, wymiany doświadczeń i omówienia potencjalnych wspólnych planów naukowych. Seminarium z udziałem prof. Steinhilbera odbędzie się w sali konferencyjnej (“SKANDA”) Instytutu Rozrodu Zwierząt i Badań Żywności PAN przyl. ul. Trylińskiego 18.International scientific seminar – Prof. Dieter SteinhilberOn May 9, at 10:00 a.m., Institute of Animal Reproduction and Food Research PAS in Olsztyn will host another international scientific seminar as part of the ERA Chair project Welcoming ERA Chair to the Centre of Excellence in Nutrigenomics to optimise health and well-being .
The guest of the event will be Prof. Dieter Steinhilber, director of the Institute of Pharmaceutical Chemistry at the Johann Wolfgang Goethe University in Frankfurt.
Prof. Steinhilber will deliver a lecture “Inflammation and lipid mediators: Old and new therapeutic strategies“.
His research focuses on lipid signaling and regulatory mechanisms in inflammation and cancer. He also investigates new therapeutic strategies with a special focus on the arachidonic acid cascade and the innate immune system.
After the lecture (around 11:00), we invite you to an informal meeting with Prof. Steinhilber, during which both research group leaders and young scientists will have the opportunity to discuss, exchange experiences and discuss potential joint scientific plans.
